Washington Farm United Methodist Church
The Friendship Patio-Monthly Gathering Thursday, June 4
Sunday, June 14 | After Worship

Sunday, June 14 | After Worship

Help us take an important step as we prepare to welcome Pastor Keiko. Please join us for a brief Charge Conference on June 14, right after worship and just before the church picnic, as we review and approve Pastor Keiko’s compensation package. Everyone is welcome to attend, and all church members, including confirmed youth, are eligible to vote.

Lots to Celebrate

Lots to Celebrate

June 14th will be a joyful celebration at Washington Farm.

We will celebrate Pastor Claire’s four years with our Washington Farm family and send her off with love.
We will recognize the hard work of our graduates. If you are celebrating a graduation or have a graduate to celebrate, please let Sam or Bev know so we can include them.

After the service, we will hold a brief Charge Conference and then head out to the church picnic. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, mustard, ketchup, relish, dessert, and water. Bring a favorite side dish, topping, dessert, or drinks to share as we enjoy food, fellowship, and the start of summer together.

If you would like to help with setup Saturday, June 13, at 10 AM, cleanup, or grilling, please get in touch with Bev.

After Worship This Sunday

After Worship This Sunday

Women in Faith will gather for a quick Mini‑meet immediately following Sunday worship to review our oyster‑shell ornament fundraiser and begin planning for our Christmas lunch. We’d love to have you there.

Last Packing of the School Year

Last Packing of the School Year

Our final Woodley Hills weekend meal packing of the school year will take place on Thursday, June 11, at 10 AM. This ministry has been a steady, heartfelt way for Washington Farm to support students experiencing homelessness, and we are grateful for every hand that has helped pack throughout the year.

We would love for you to join us on June 11 as we finish the school year strong. If you cannot make it that morning, keep an eye out for other opportunities to serve the Woodley Hills community during the summer and again in the fall.

Fellowship on the Fairway

Fellowship on the Fairway

On May 18, Washington Farm joined friends and neighbors at Greendale Golf Course for the Rising Hope Golf Tournament. Washington Farm sponsored both a team and Hole 7, symbolizing the Eternal Life we are graced with through our faith in Jesus.

Our golfers, Brian (Captain), Dan, Mike, and Tony, along with thirteen other teams, enjoyed a warm day, plenty of water, good spirits, and encouragement from supporters waiting at the finish.  Washington Farm's team finished nine under par with a score of 58, or 9 strokes under par!

The tournament’s proceeds will strengthen Rising Hope’s ongoing work of providing food, shelter, and spiritual care to our housing-insecure neighbors along the Route One Corridor. We are thankful to be part of this mission and for every person who helped make the day fun and meaningful.

Sunday, June 7, 2026

This Sunday we turn to Mark 6:14–29 and the challenge of choosing to follow Christ. In the message, “Get Off the Fence,” we’ll reflect on what it means to move from hesitation to wholehearted discipleship, trusting Jesus with courage and conviction in a world full of competing voices.

Thanks to those serving in worship this week!
