Our Music Campers have been singing, strumming, and shining all week long, and there are just two days left before the big finish.

This week, campers clapped along to The Greatest Showman with Bill, dove into guitar with David, fell in love with the strings (turns out strumming along is basically irresistible), and rolled with a surprise last-minute change when Pastor Keiko and others jumped in as last-minute substitutes.

None of this happens without Eileen, whose planning and heart make Music Camp possible, and the many, many volunteers who share their love of music with so much joy.

Come cheer them on, thank a volunteer, and celebrate a week well spent.

SNL was a blast! The crew gathered for dinner (thanks, Pam!), a devotional from Pastor Keiko, and no shortage of Four Square action. A special shoutout to Pastor Keiko's friends Mo and Germany, who drove over to teach everyone the game. We hope they had as much fun as everyone else did.

This Sunday, July 19th: It's the "Me Show"!
Come ready to share a little about yourself. Fill a paper lunch sack (or similar) with a few items that represent who you are and what you love. Can't fit something in the bag? Get creative, a photo or a mini version works great too. Bring your bag back to SNL in the Fireplace Room for a fun night of getting to know each other better.

• July 26 – Q&A time — bring your questions!
• August 2 – Frisbee golf at Pohick Bay Park
• August 9 – Summer party (off-site)
• August 23 – No SNL, but join in worship for Back to School Sunday & the Blessing of the Backpacks
• August 30 – You tell us! We'll talk through what you want SNL to look like this year

Church Council meets this Tuesday at 6:30 PM in the Fireplace Room — our first gathering with Pastor Keiko as we start doing the work of the church together.

And to the rest of our church family: you're invited too! While voting is reserved for Council members, everyone is welcome to come listen, share your heart, and bring your ideas to the table. This is your church, and we'd love your voice in the room as we look ahead to this new season together.

Pastor Keiko will be hosting three Sundays at the Parsonage after worship this summer, so we can get to know her and she can get to know us. Choose one of the dates below, then plan to stay after worship and walk over together as we enjoy growing in fellowship.

This Sunday, we'll celebrate Music Camp and dig into Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23 as we continue our "Who We Are to Be" series with "Envision and Expect a Spectacular Harvest." We don't need to wait for the perfect moment to do something big. We can start small, touching one life at a time, and trust God to multiply it beyond what we could imagine. Come stay expectant with us as we focus on the mission of God and watch for the amazing things God is doing in our midst.
