Thank you to everyone who helped cook and staff the Hypothermia Shelter last Sunday! You’re helping to keep some of our most vulnerable neighbors fed and warm this winter.  We’re still in need of volunteers for March 11th and 25th. For more information or to sign-up, please go here to sign up or contact Sam Barnes.

KNITTERS WANTED– Do you know how to knit?  We are very much in need of several knitters to help resupply shawls for the “Prayer Shawls” program.  Prayer Shawls are given to people during a difficult time.  Baby shawls are also given to church member’s immediate family.  Right now, we only have 3 ladies knitting and the requests for shawls are increasing and the supply bank is getting very low.  Questions, call Gail Dawes.  She would be happy to get you started.  UMW will reimburse the knitters for the yarn.

The Youth and the Sunday School classes are sponsoring this week’s Soup Supper. Our Soup Suppers are traditionally prepared and served by groups and individuals within the church.  Soup, bread and water will be served from 6-6:30 PM and Philip will present a Bible Study from 6:30-6:45 PM.  Volunteer on the sign-up sheet in the narthex.
